Economist Douglas Holtz-Eakin, former head of President George W. Bush’s Council of Economic Advisers, offers the following instructional video on the consequences of not raising the debt ceiling. It’s required viewing for anyone who argues that not lifting the current limit is a viable option. And hey, it’s simple and short!
