As both a former fanboy and a victim of Bill O’Reilly’s vitriol -- I’m among the select group of antagonists he has told to shut up -- I was intrigued to learn that O’Reilly is to be the subject of a comic book to be published next month. ‘Political Power: Bill O’Reilly’ will even have that staple of superhero comics, the origin story. (The writer said that the mag will pay careful attention to O’Reilly’s early years. Look for a cameo by Jor-El O’Reilly.)

But if Bill is to be a superhero, he’ll need a supervillain. Liberal Man? The Cultural Elitist? Dr. Relativism? No, the obvious choice is Pinhead. He could be a composite of all the people O’Reilly has given that appellation -- me included. And how about a story in which Bill summons Glenn Beck from a parallel universe to help him vanquish Pinhead? Talk about your classic crossovers!
