Whatever else you may say about the L.A. Times and its personnel (and you've already said plenty), I think it's fair to say we're willing to take our lumps in public. Patrick Frey and Marc Cooper's Dust-Up on the future of the Times is winding up. Yesterday they hashed out the differences between ailing old media companies and never-better-served news consumers. Today, they joined forces for a beatdown of The Times so gleeful even I was tempted to circle the wagons in classic dinosaur media fashion.
