Edwards route complete

Unnoted in my piece on the return of the Kulturkampf is that Melissa McEwen, the second blogger selected for needling by Bill Donohue, has followed Amanda Marcotte out of the John Edwards campaign. McEwen's comments, for my money, were both less offensive and less amusing than Marcotte's, and I think she should have held out. Or rather, I think they both should have held out—Edwards is the one who should give it up—but I could see how Marcotte's position was indefensible; McEwen is just a victim of the momentum.

This is not a good start for Edwards who needs to show competency on all levels.
So far, so bad.
I actually like John Edwards, but not as President.
He will be out as well.
That will be his final blog.
I am,

It ain't over yet for Edwards. You don't become the Tar Heel State's greatest ambulance chaser by quitting easily.
